Ahn Jihoo, the actor known for his roles in the dramas "All of Us Are Dead" and "Night Has Come", recently opened up about his upcoming BL drama titled "Heesu in Class 2".
In an interview with News1.kr, Ahn Jihoo was asked about the reason he joined the drama.
"I always knew that the genre was BL, Lee Heesu is a cute and charming character. He's an ordinary student, but has a bit of a sense of comedy, he's funny. I didn't act just because the drama itself is mainly about BL but because it feels like a human comedy (with feelings), and it shows Heesu's growth," said Ahn Jihoo.
"Heesu in Class 2" is a drama adapted from the webtoon of the same name by Lily Zuzu. The drama tells the story of Hee Su, a high school student who secretly likes his best friend, Chan Young. One day, Hee Su suddenly becomes famous at school because of a rumor that is circulating that he is an expert in love affairs. Hee Su must then face the reality that he has to give advice to others about love, even though he himself is still confused about his feelings for Chan Young.
The drama will be directed by Park Kyung Min and will premiere in 2024.
