GMMTV, the agency representing Thai actor Fourth Nattawat, has enlisted legal counsel to address the case of privacy video distribution involving the actor. This case originated from the posting of a video on the Instagram accounts @sonpp_ and X @sonponthana, which reportedly contained footage of Fourth Nattawat using the restroom with a friend at Chulalongkorn University.
The video, which featured an individual recording through a mirror showing Fourth and the friend using the restroom, was initially uploaded on August 29, 2023, and immediately garnered criticism from fans. They viewed the actions of the individual as a violation of privacy and a threat to Fourth.
In response, GMMTV announced through its social media today, Friday, September 15, 2023, that they have engaged legal counsel to follow up on the case.
GMMTV has appointed an attorney of law as a legal representative of GMMTV's artist Fourth-Nattawat Jirochtikul to meet with official inspectors to take legal actions against Instagram user @sonpp_and X user @sonponthana for causing disgrace, trouble, and annoyance in public, as well as defamation by digital publication.
Please be informed that those who engage in similar activities against any of our artists will face severe legal consequences from the company.
Respectfully yours,
GMMTV Company Limited

GMMTV's post was immediately flooded with comments from fans. They appreciated the agency's steps in addressing the issue.
"Please protect them," one fan wrote.
"Thank you for following up on this matter, may such incidents never happen again," another fan commented.
As of now, the Instagram account responsible for spreading the video has changed its name. Meanwhile, their X account has been suspended.
Another piece of news is that the individual responsible for the intrusive video distribution feels no guilt. In a screenshot of an Instagram conversation, one of Fourth Nattawat's fans inquired in Indonesian, "Why was it deleted? afraid it was removed after uploading?" and the individual responded that they were not afraid at all and even claimed that they were completely innocent, saying, "Why should I be afraid? I did nothing wrong, or are you the one who's afraid? chatting with fake accounts."
Following GMMTV's statement regarding authorizing the attorney to report this matter on behalf of Fourth Nattawat, there is currently no additional information available regarding further developments. We will await official reports from both the attorney and GMMTV.
