Thailand-Korea BL sci-fi drama titled "Wuju Bakery (우주빵집)," starring Jeff Satur and Barcode Tin, is set to air in March 2024.
The drama is produced by Be On Cloud, a production house known for popular BL dramas such as "KinnPorsche The Series," "The Hidden Character," and "ManSuang," in collaboration with production companies Hanyang Studio and A-Plan from South Korea. Wuju Bakery completed its filming process in South Korea in August.
Jeff Satur had previously mentioned that the drama was planned to air in November 2023. However, the producers, through an official statement, announced that the drama is still in the post-production process and will air in the first week of March next year.
Wuju Bakery is a romantic comedy with a sci-fi touch, telling the story of a bakery owner who encounters an alien. The bakery is located in a small village that holds many fond memories for the owner. However, the bakery is destroyed after a spaceship crashes. The bakery owner and the alien then live together, starting a life full of chaos.
The drama will consist of 8 episodes, each lasting 30 minutes. In addition to Jeff Satur and Barcode Tin, who are Thai actors, the cast includes actors from South Korea and the Philippines, such as Dion (김도윤), Jun In Kyu (준인규), Jayson, and Alpha.
Wuju Bakery is one of the most anticipated BL dramas for fans of this genre. This is because the drama combines unique and interesting sci-fi elements, and it is also the first drama starring Jeff Satur and Barcode Tin as a couple after previously being paired in the most famous Be On Cloud series, 'KinnPorsche The Series.'
