Great news for Japanese Boys' Love (BL) drama fans! The upcoming drama titled "Love Is Better The Second Time Around" (恋をするなら二度目が上等) has finally unveiled its main poster and announced new cast members!


This drama is adapted from the manga of the same name by Kinoshita Keiko and will star Hasegawa Makoto and Furuya Robin. "Love is Better the Second Time Around" is scheduled to premiere on March 5, 2024.


The story revolves around Akihiro Miyata, a mid-level editor who accidentally reunites with his first love, university professor Takashi Iwanaga, while seeking his expertise for an economics column. Despite this accidental encounter, Miyata is determined to keep their relationship strictly professional. However, he struggles against Iwanaga's charm and the complexities of getting a second chance at love.
Expressing their feelings and facing the challenges of adult life, this drama will explore themes of idealism, reality, self-worth, and delve into the dynamics of "second love" filled with disappointment yet irresistible.
The drama also announced the addition of Takamatsu Aloha, an actor previously known for his role in "Tokyo in April is...". This announcement certainly adds to the enthusiasm of fans!
In addition to releasing posters and announcing additional cast members, the production team has also released the opening song titled "コヨイノウタ" (Koyoi no Uta) by Mel (HPI Records) and a diagram depicting the relationship between characters.
