Rumors are circulating about the possibility of a season 2 of the popular drama "The Eclipse," starring First Kanaphan and Khaotung Thanawat. In March, the author of the novel "คาธ," which was adapted into "The Eclipse Series" by GMMTV, released the second book in this series titled "คาธปี2," marking the beginning of a new chapter in the story of AkkAyyan and his friends at university.
This news has sparked high interest in a second season, and reportedly, it may become a reality in October at the GMMTV2024 press conference.
Interestingly, one of the drama adaptation writers and members of All This Entertainment recently posted a mysterious message on their X account (formerly Twitter), "GMMTV2024 Kembali Lagi, Sampaikan Salam untuk Semua Anggota Tim ALLTHIS. Kami Punya Satu Proyek yang Menarik. Tentang Genre dan Pemain, Tunggu Kabar Selanjutnya!" This confirms that the producer will have a project with GMMTV in 2024.
Speculation is rife on social media that this project might be the second season of "The Eclipse," continuing the story from the recently released second book. Furthermore, during an event at "GMMTV Live House," First Khaotungg mentioned the dramas he has worked on with Neo, including "The Eclipse 1," without mentioning a second season.
All signs point to a strong possibility, especially when Khaotung mentioned "The Eclipse 1" as if something is on the horizon. Fans are certainly hoping that the second season is on its way.
