August Vachiravit Paisarnkulwong, a Thai actor known for the BL series Love Sick (2014), has been confirmed to play the character Gu Hai in the Thai remake of Addicted Heroin. This announcement was made by the production team today, Wednesday (29/11).
The remake will be directed by Yuan Tin Tun Danop, who has previously directed popular BL series such as Love Sick Season 2, Make It Right, What The Duck, Hit Bite Love, and many more. The filming process for this remake will begin in early 2024.
August Vachiravit Paisarnkulwong is currently one of the popular actors in Thailand, having starred in various popular series, including Love Sick, Ghost Wave, Part of Love, and many more.
Gu Hai ('Hero' in the Thai version) is the main character in Addicted Heroin. He is a student who falls in love with a man named Bai Lou Yin ('Pop' in the Thai version). Their relationship is full of obstacles, as Gu Hai comes from a wealthy family, and Xiao Jiu comes from a poor family, not to mention they are stepbrothers.
The production team of the Addicted Heroin Thai remake confidently announces that August Vachiravit Paisarnkulwong will play the character Gu Hai, expected to portray the character well.
