Casey McQuinston, Author of 'Red, White, & Royal Blue' Responds to Sequel Film Speculations

In an interview with Out Magazine, the author and creator of the novel "Red White & Royal Blue," Casey McQuinston, discussed the possibility of a sequel film.

“I mean, like, of course, I would love to. I don’t think I’m allowed to say anything more than that at this point.” said McQuinston.

The film "Red White & Royal Blue" was released in 2023 and became a major success. It starred Taylor Zakhar Perez as Alex Claremont-Diaz and Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Henry.

The movie follows the story of Alex, the son of the President of the United States, and Henry, the son of the British crown. These two young men are forced to pretend to be friends to mend the relationship between their two countries, but they soon fall in love.

The film was praised for its humor, warmth, and inclusive message. It also became one of the most successful LGBTQ+ films of all time.
