GMMTV, a leading Thai entertainment company, announced the postponement of the broadcast of the series 'Cherry Magic 30ยังซิง' for international fans. This delay is due to a lack of copyright issues.
'Cherry Magic 30ยังซิง' is a series adapted from the Japanese manga and drama of the same title. The series tells the story of a 30-year-old man who suddenly gains the ability to read other people's minds after being touched by a gay man. The series premiered on the GMMTV OFFICIAL YouTube channel on December 9 and has gained high popularity among international fans.
This delay news has disappointed many international fans, including Tay Tawan, the lead actor in the series. Tay reposted GMMTV's announcement on his personal Twitter account and wrote, "Bad news."
Not only Tay Tawan but also Yoo Toyota, the manga writer of 'Cherry Magic,' expressed his disappointment. He mentioned that he had no knowledge of this news and didn't know why the series was suspended.
"Cherry Magic (Thailand) has been temporarily stopped, does that mean it will resume soon...? There are many speculations, but I haven't heard anything about it, and I haven't done anything." - Yoo Toyota wrote on his X Account
Despite the disappointment, fans will continue to wait for the latest updates from GMMTV. They will also continue to support Tay Tawan and New Thitipoom, the other lead actor, for this series.
As of now, GMMTV has not provided further information regarding the possibility of the re-broadcast of the 'Cherry Magic 30ยังซิง' series for international fans.
