The Ministry of Commerce of Thailand has announced a collaboration with "Be On Cloud," a company producing "Boys Love" (BL) series, in an effort to promote Thai products and services globally. This project involves two renowned actors, Mile Phakphum and Apo Nattawin, the main stars of the popular series "KinnPorsche The Series," who will act as influencers and soft power.
The launch of this significant project is scheduled for January 31, as part of an initiative to bring Thai products to the global market. This collaboration aligns with the policy of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce to collaborate with the private sector beyond conventional frameworks, especially in promoting the export of Thai products and services requiring new trade channels suitable for the digital era.
The collaboration with "Be On Cloud" is expected to open doors for famous actors like Mile Phakphum and Apo Nattawin, as well as other actors under their management, to promote Thai products and services to global fans, especially in China, South Korea, Japan, and surrounding regions.
The Ministry of Commerce hopes that this collaboration can be the starting point for partnering with film production companies, series producers, and other companies in the digital content industry to collectively promote Thai products and services worldwide, including Thai food in various series scenes.
In the production process, if shooting locations are outside the province, the company will endeavor to use local products and products from Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in that area to support the local economy, in line with the trend of series fans often following the footsteps of the series to visit locations used as settings.
On January 31, the Ministry of Commerce will hold a press conference to inaugurate this collaboration project, with special facilities and transportation arrangements to welcome thousands of Mile Phakphum and Apo Nattawin fans expected to come from various countries. This underscores the importance of this project for the Ministry of Commerce and the private sector in promoting Thai products and services.
