BL Drama 'Perfect Propose' Releases Additional Cast, Theme Song, Teaser Video and Airing Schedule

BL live-action drama "Perfect Propose," adapted from Tsurugame Mayo's manga, is set to premiere on February 2, 2024, on the FOD video streaming service. The production team has announced additional cast members, the theme song, and the first teaser video for the occasion.
The main cast of this drama remains with Shunya Kaneko as Watari Hirokuni and Kouta Nomura as Fukaya Kai. In the additional cast, Jinji Irie will play the role of Hirokuni's senior at the company, Ayane Kinoshita as a young junior female employee, and Rio Takahashi as a young male colleague.
The theme song for this drama will be performed by OCTPATH, an idol group formed from original participants of the popular audition program "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN SEASON2." The song titled "Daydream" is specially written for this drama and will be released as part of their debut single, "OCTAVE / Daydream," on February 21, 2024.
The released teaser video features joyful moments of Hirokuni enjoying the meal prepared by Fukaya Kai, along with cute moments of Fukaya Kai pushing Hirokuni from behind. The released video spot also provides an overview of the story world before the premiere.

Synopsis

It's Fukaya Kai (Kouta Nomura), Hiro's good friend from elementary school. Around 10 years have passed, and the now grown-up Kai appears before Hiro. With no place to stay, Kai moves into Hiro's house, starting a life together with the condition of making food every day.
